چکیده
Intramural bronchogenic cysts are extremely rare. We describe the case of an intramural bronchogenic cyst in a 2 year old boy who underwent tracheal resection and end-to-end anastomosis.

Retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst: a case report
Bronchogenic cysts are among developmental disorders of the primitive foregut which are typically found above the diaphragm. Bronchial cysts discovered in the abdominal cavity or retroperitoneum are extremely rare. We present a rare case of a retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst which was incidentally detected after a wrestling injury in a 23-year-old man who had a negative medical history. Alth...
متن کاملA case report of para-esophageal bronchogenic cyst with esophageal communication
Paraesophageal bronchogenic cyst was one of common mediastinal congenital cystic lesions of foregut origin. Because of an intimate embryologic relationship with the esophagus, they were usually found intramural (intramural esophageal bronchogenic cysts) with the local esophageal mucosa being intact and the paraesophageal bronchogenic cysts were rarely communicated with esophageal lumen. We repo...
متن کاملIntramural bronchogenic cyst of the oesophagus
Bronchogenic cysts are relatively common mediastinal cysts. Here, we report removal of a rare paraoesophageal-type bronchogenic cyst by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in a 52-year-old male patient. The defect of the oesophageal wall was successfully reinforced with an intercostal muscle flap.
متن کاملIntramural Esophageal Bronchogenic Cyst Mimicking Malignity and Support of PET-CT in The Diagnosis
Bronchogenic cysts are congenital lesions caused by the abnormal budding of the trachea-bronchial tree in the embryogenic period. İntramural esophageal bronchogenic cysts occur by the abnormal budding seen between mucosa and muscle layers of the esophagus which is an extremely rare localization. İntramural esophageal bronchogenic cysts is asymptomatic until it reaches to a large size. A complic...
متن کاملManagement of Fetal Bronchogenic Lung Cysts: A Case Report and Short Review of Literature
Congenital malformations of the lung (CML) are rare with similar embryological and clinical spectra and could result in mortality if left untreated. Bronchogenic cysts are formed during the budding of the tracheal diverticula and ventral foregut in the embryological period. In this paper we want to present a case of bronchogenic cyst with continuous intrauterine cyst aspiration follow-up. After...
